Marriage License Info
Texas marriage licenses are available to all couples at any county clerk's office. The process is straightforward — we've put together a step-by-step guide to make it easy.

Is same-sex marriage legal in Texas?
Yes. Same-sex marriage has been legally recognized across all 50 states, including Texas, since the Supreme Court ruling in Obergefell v. Hodges (2015). Your marriage certificate carries the same legal weight as any other.
Are your ceremonies different for same-sex couples?
Not at all. Every couple receives the same beautiful, legally binding ceremony. We simply adjust pronouns and language to reflect your relationship.
Do we need witnesses?
Texas requires two witnesses who are at least 18 years old. If you're eloping without guests, we can provide chapel witnesses at no extra charge.
What about our marriage license?
You'll need a Texas marriage license from any county clerk's office. The process is the same for all couples. We handle filing it after the ceremony.
