The license is valid for 90 days. A Texas license issued by any county can be used for a ceremony anywhere in the state — you do not have to marry in Fort Bend County.
Wedding Policies Vary by Fort Bend Court
There is no single "Fort Bend courthouse wedding." The county has several courts and each publishes its own policy. The examples below come from official county pages and show how much they can differ: some courts officiate by appointment only, others may accommodate walk-ins as the docket permits, several allow photography and video, guest capacity varies by courtroom (official pages show examples ranging from 30 up to 60), some judges may officiate at private venues, and the County Judge's office offers ceremonies in Spanish upon request.
