- 1
Click the live stream button above
Your browser will ask if you want to open Zoom Workplace. Choose the app, or click "Cancel" and then select "Join from your browser" on the page.
- 2
Enter your name
Use your real name so the couple knows who's attending. No Zoom account required.
- 3
You'll enter the waiting room
You'll see a screen that says "Please wait, the host will let you in soon." This is normal — we're preparing the ceremony. Keep the tab or app open and we'll admit you when the ceremony begins.
- 4
Audio and video
When you're admitted, choose "Join with Computer Audio." Your microphone will be muted and camera off by default — this is out of respect for the couple. Please keep both off during the ceremony.
- 5
Enjoy the ceremony
The ceremony typically lasts 15–20 minutes. Use the Zoom chat to send congratulations to the couple after the "I do."
The couple can see you
From the altar, the couple sees you as if you were sitting in the back row. Even though they can't hear you (your mic is muted out of respect), they can still see you. Wave hello, applaud, or give a thumbs up during special moments. Many guests think they aren't visible and leave their avatar up for the whole ceremony — you are seen, so please engage visually!
